Jürgen Brokoff

Jürgen Brokoff is Professor of Modern German Literature at the Freie Universität Berlin and speaker of the Collaborative Research Centre 1512 Intervening Arts until April 2024. His area of research is German literature from the 18th century to the present. In the Literary Studies sub-project Intervening Writing, he investigates ambivalences and ruptures in socialist literature in the GDR.
