Riccardo Nicolosi

Riccardo Nicolosi is professor of Slavic literatures at LMU Munich. His research focuses on the literatures and cultures of Russia and the Soviet Union and Southeastern Europe from the 18th to 21st centuries. His latest publication, Putin’s War Rhetoric (2025), examines Putin’s speeches since 2014 and analyzes the rhetorical strategies and key narratives of his propaganda.
