Roman Horbyk is research lecturer in media studies at the Institute for Slavic and Eastern European Studies of the University of Zurich, where he also founded and directs the War Digital Sources Lab (WarDS) and the Hub for Ukrainian Studies. He has taught and conducted research at universities across Europe, including Uppsala University, Södertörn University, and the University of Basel. Horbyk’s work focuses on war, propaganda, mediatization, and digital culture.
