holds the position of Dilthey Fellowship at Potsdam University. She studied Art History, Media Studies and New Media Art at Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design, Goldsmiths College London and Humboldt University Berlin. She had been research assistant at the »Helmholtz-Zentrum für Kulturtechnik« at Humboldt University Berlin. Her research focus is on the interrelation between Image Science, Cultural Studies and Media Studies: digital images; the theory and history of the technology of textiles and punch cards; maps and diagrams; camouflage – strategies of invisibility at the turn of the 20thcentury; the history of television and interference; graphical methods/diagrams; art history and media history of sound & vision. She furthermore works freelance as graphic designer and organises art projects on Sound & Vision as part of the »mikomikona« collective.
